The Fisherman and the Genie

Following the success of her last visit with ‘When Eggy Met Peggy’, Tallulah Swirls is back with her puppetry delights.

The session will commence with a shadow puppet performance, inspired by a tale from Arabian Nights: The Fisherman and the Genie. This atmospheric, magical and interactive performance provides the perfect introduction to shadow puppets.

Following a short break, a simple yet effective puppet making process will be demonstrated and children will be encouraged to use their imagination and produce their own characters derived from the show. A short impromptu and improvisational shadow puppet show will follow, starring the children themselves, giving them the opportunity to bring their characters to life.

Age guidance, 4-8 (grown-ups attend free of charge)

Yn dilyn egwyl fer, bydd cyfle i’r plant greu pypedau syml eu hunain gan ddefnyddio eu dychymyg i gynhyrchu eu cymeriadau eu hunain yn deillio o’r sioe. Bydd sioe bypedau cysgod byr yn dilyn, gyda’r plant eu hunain yn cael y cyfle i ddod â’u cymeriadau yn fyw .
